The Charmed ones
How they are related Prue, Piper and Phoebe Halliwell and their half sister Paige Matthews(Adoptive parents name). Parents Patty Halliwell was married to Victor, Prue, Piper and Phoebe's Dad. Victor could not put up with the girls having powers knowing some day it could kill them. Victor Also disliked his mother in law who thought he could not handle being the father of the charmed ones so he left.
Patty then had and affair with her whitelighter Sam and put her new baby Paige up for adoption to keep the power of three. Patty got killed a year later from a water demon. Powers Prue, Piper and Phoebe Halliwell, three sisters each with a special gift, the power of magic.
The oldest sister Prue is Telekinetic this enables her to move things with her mind and also astral project. Piper has the power to freeze time and explode things due to molecular manipulation and Phoebe the youngest sister has premonitions and is able to levitate.
When Prue dies Piper and Phoebe find out they have another sister. They discovered that their mother Patty had an affair with her white lighter(an Angel) Sam which at the time was forbidden but led to Paige being born. To save the power of Three before, the elders found out Patty and Sam had to put Paige up for adoption. Paige also has The power of Telekinesis, but because of being half white lighter has to call for(orb) the object not just think of it and because of the half whitelighter gene she can orb(shimmer) herself. |

Book of Shadows
The Book Of Shadows is a magic book originating from Melinda Warren,the girls ancestor. The book helps the charmed ones fight evil it is a Mystical book of witchcraft. After Prue, Phoebe, and Piper Halliwell inherit a their grandmothers victorian home they discover the Book Of Shadows. This happens when one night their Ouija board directs Pheobe to the attic. There she a large leather-bound book called the Book of Shadows. The book was filled with spells to be used only by witches to ward off evil. One of the spells was written for the charmed ones to by one of their ancestors which enabled the three sisters to recive their powers. (To find out what spell please look at the powers page). The sisters soon discovered they had received special gifts. Phoebe could see the future; Piper could stop time and Prue could move objects with her mind.
Centuries ago Melinda Warren the sisters ancestor also a witch, vowed that each generation of Warren witches would become stronger and stronger, culminating in the arrival of three sisters. These sisters would be the most powerful witches the world would ever know. They would be protectors of the innocent and known as the "charmed ones".
The demons book is called the Grimour it cannot be picked up by anyone that is not evil, just as the Book Of Shadows cannot be picked up by anyone that is not good. The Book Of Shadows can not leave the Halliwell manor unless taken out by a Halliwell as it holds all the Halliwells spells as centeries of Halliwell witches have added to it.
